The installation of a new TEN is done in reverse order.
Another example of the first scheme. The heating element is also located vertically, on the back, inner wall of the oven, under the protective lid. But the TEN mounting screws are on the back of the back wall of the oven. Therefore, to replace the TEN, you need to expand the oven and remove the back protective cover of the case.

If the heating element is located horizontally, under the bottom wall of the oven, then, to replace it, you need to turn the oven and remove the back cover of the case :

After that, you need to disconnect the power wires from the TEN and then unscrew the mounting plate screws. And after that, pull out the TEN (together with the mounting plate) :
Next, you can remove the TEN from the mounting plate and put a new TEN there.
The assembly (CHN with mounting plate) is set in reverse order.
How to replace the upper TEN of the oven
The upper TEN is replaced as well as the vertical TEN, on the rear cover. And two options are also possible :
TEN can be replaced completely from inside the oven.
To replace the TEN, you need to expand the oven and remove the back cover of the case.

Disconnect power wires from TEN.
Twist mounting screws.
Next, open the oven and unscrew the internal mounting clamps.
Pull out the TEN.

Important warnings
Before starting work, do not forget to disconnect the oven from the power grid.
Find out where the TEN is located in your oven and how it is fixed. Such information, for example, can be found on the Internet or requested in technical support of the manufacturer. This can even be done visually by starting the inspection from the inside of the oven and, if necessary, remove the back cover of the case.
If you are not a specialist in the repair of ovens - before shooting the old TEN, write down or photograph the location of the wires between the electrical elements. In order not to confuse the connection of wires during assembly.
If the contacts and fasteners of the TEN are located at the back of the case, then first you need to disconnect the wires, and then unscrew the screws of the TEN mount. But if the TEN is attached inside the dohouse, then first round the mount screws, then carefully, pull the TEN out a short distance and then disconnect the power wires after that.
Typically, electric wires are connected by fuel lines through special flat connectors that are pressed on power wires. When turning off such a wire, pull it is necessary for the connector itself, and not for the wire. If you pull the wire you can pull the wire out of the connector.
Diagnosis of the component (elements) of the oven
Formula for calculating the resistance of a working TEN. The network voltage (for which the TEN is designed) is squared and the result is divided by the power of the TEN. Example - voltage 230 volts, power 1600 watts. The resistance of this TEN will be equal to 33 Ohm. The general rule for resistance of elements is the higher the power of the element, the lower its resistance.
Cyclic thermostat is also tested for resistance. The service thermostat must give the chain (be closed) in the off state and open the circuit when turned on (when the temperature is added).
Emergency thermostat (heating protection). In normal condition, it must be closed. At high temperature should open.
